Sameen is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She completed her Master of Arts in Counselling and Spirituality from Saint Paul University in 2020. Sameen has worked in community settings and gained experience with a diverse clientele presenting many different concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and gender-based violence.
Sameen believes that the best therapy is done when clients are provided a safe and non-judgmental space that allows them to recognize and employ their personal strengths. She also recognizes that an individual’s larger environment, past experiences, and relationships have a significant impact on their lives. Therefore, she works from a client-centred, strengths-based approach while also taking the individual’s larger context into consideration. She works collaboratively with clients to identify goals and build on existing skills/strengths to help them achieve the life they want.
