Maureen MacDiarmid, MSW, Clinical Supervisor

Maureen (BSW, MSW, RSW) has been in practice for 34 years and is an experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor. She provides clinical supervision to psychotherapists who are registered with the OCSWSSW as well as those who are registered and qualifying with the CRPO. Small group, dyad, and one-to-one clinical supervision is offered.

Maureen has worked extensively in the field of mental health and addictions in both hospitals and community agencies. She has also provided trauma and resilience training programs to front line staff in urgent care areas such as Emergency Departments and Refugee Welcome Centres. Her work is grounded in inclusivity, anti-oppression, cultural sensitivity, and adult education.

In psychotherapy, she is formally certified in concurrent disorders, complex trauma and PTSD, and psychotherapy modalities including Narrative, CBT, DBT, IPT, CBTI, ACT and EFS. She is passionate about her work and enjoys providing a safe and respectful opportunity for case review, clinical reflection, modality studies, skill building, and professional growth.
