Sam Srijani, MACP, RP
Sam is a Registered Psychotherapist and has extensive training working with clients of diverse backgrounds. She provides therapy in English and Bengali. Sam strives to create a safe and comforting space that fosters both healing and personal growth. Her priority is to help clients lead the life they want to live according to their own values by building a therapeutic relationship based on genuine human connection. Sam works from a trauma-informed, culturally-competent, and LGBTQ+-affirming perspective to make sure clients of all backgrounds, experiences and identities feel heard and empowered.
Sam is experienced in working with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflict, and work-related stress. She has a specialized focus in working with women facing challenges with self-esteem, body image and perfectionism. She uses an integrative approach incorporating a wide range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, which includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and mindfulness, to provide care that is suited to each client’s unique needs.
